French First Lady Dazzles at Bastille Day
Nikolas Sarkozy’s wife, Carla, wore a radiant shade of violet to the annual Bastille Day parade–and flats! Now that’s my type of girl (you can tell that I don’t wear heels much). She probably wanted to be comfortable doing all that walking.
For the Bastille Day ceremony, Carla sat by Egyptian First Lady Suzanne Mubarak, who looked very nice with that scarf around her neck. Next to her was UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon’s wife Yoo Soon-Taek, and Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa al-Thani’s wife, Sheikha Moza Bint Nasser al-Misnad, who was brilliant in green. Note the lady-like way they sat (and stood).
