Exercise guru Richard Simmons dressed up for his trip to Capitol Hill at a Congressional hearing about childhood obesity on July 24. Simmons urged Congress to keep physical education classes in public schools, at a time when many schools are doing the exact opposite due to budget restraints. At least Richard can encourage kids that with hard work and willpower they can one day grow up and look as fit and trim in a suit as he did (even if the dark colors didn’t quite seem to fit with his personality).
