“The X-Files: I Want to Believe” Premiere

Stars who attended the premiere of “The X-Files: I Want to Believe” in Hollywood on July 23 were mostly all smiles. Unlike the attendees at “The Dark Knight” premieres (who mostly matched their film’s dark tones in dress), there was no trace of paranoia or darkness at this event.

Gillian Anderson was radiant with her pregnant glow in a dark blue gown with a long string of diamonds encircling her neck. David Duchovny (sans wife Tea), however, seemed a little worse for the wear. Amanda Peet sparkled in black, and Bai Ling was okay in a backless yellow dress that showed off her tattoo. I liked Katie Cassidy’s white and red dress, which seemed perfect for a summer movie premiere. Rapper/actor Alvin “Xzibit” Joiner dressed up nicely in a black ensemble, and actress Jamie Chung looked cute with her side ponytail and white dress. Overall, it was a nice, sunny L.A. movie premiere that even included a fan celebration, too!
