X-Files UK Premiere

The X-Files cast flew to London to open their new movie on July 30. David Duchovny looked a lot better this time around, dressed in a gray suit and dark tie, and his co-star Gillian Anderson looked like she was ready to pop. Is it just me or do most of the smiles in these pictures seem forced? Maybe poor box office sales have everyone desperately hoping that the movie will be a hit overseas? Other guests included the lovely Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Chanelle Hayes.

Being a former X-Files fan, I am a little disappointed to read the movie reviews. The consensus seems to be that the movie is mediocre at best. I hope they didn’t squander an opportunity to introduce the series to a new generation.
