150th Anniversary of Japan-France Relations

I love scenes like these: French singer Clementine and breathtakingly beautiful Japanese geiko performed in Tokyo on August 1 for the Hana-Zakari Kyoto X Paris event to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Franco-Japanese relations. The first official French-Japanese treaty which opened diplomatic relations between both countries was signed in 1858.
