Netflix Band From TV Concert: My Report
Yes, I was there, and I got to get some good pics of Hayden Panettiere (now I know the correct pronunciation of her last name), Bob Guiney, Jesse Spencer, Jorge Garcia, James Denton, Teri Hatcher, Hugh Laurie, Adrian Pasdar and Zach Levi. Hayden only appeared for the first couple of songs. The concert started late (so the stars could finish their interviews) and the band played about an hour’s worth of upbeat classic rock and country songs.
Jorge Garcia started it off with fantastic vocals on “Mustang Sally.” Hugh Laurie was great on the keyboard and James sang “Viva Las Vegas” and did those Elvis moves. Later he took off his shirt and donned a cowboy hat to sing a country song. Zach Levi sang a duet with Bob Guiney in a shirt that featured small ruffles in front. (Is the men’s ruffled shirt making a comeback?) IMO vocals were a bit weak on the last song before the encore, “The Devil Went Down to Georgia,” but Jesse Spencer played until his electric violin was smoking.
Here are some of my pics of the event. Oh yes, and I must give credit to my sweet hubby for the mad dash to get there. I also recorded some of the performances, but alas, I was too close to the stage and all the noise from the percussion completely drowned out the singers, except for a couple of times when the band went out. And now I simply must get a better camera so I can sell my pics to Splash News, lol.
