Best Emmy Awards Gowns
Brooke Shields, Mariska Hargitay, Shaun Robinson, Vanessa Williams, Lisa Rinna, Olivia Wilde, Tricia Helfer, Christina Applegate, Mary Tyler Moore, Nicolette Sheridan and Evangeline Lily dripped colorful glamour over the red carpet at the 60th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles on September 21.
Some observations of this year’s Emmy gowns: several stars had fabulous hair and earrings, along with a gorgeous top on their gown, but the skirt bombed (e.g., America Ferrera, Rose Byrne). Other stars wore dresses with strange patterns (Jennifer Love Hewitt), or an unflattering mix of design elements (e.g., Heidi Klum).
Which gown would I have worn if I were going to the Emmy’s? Without a doubt it would be Olivia Wilde’s gown, which is my favorite out of the whole bunch (it made her look like Princess Olivia). But Shaun Robinson and Brooke Shields come in a close second. Ah, eye candy!
